International League T20 Information
The International League T20 (ILT20), also known as the DP World ILT20 for sponsorship reasons, is a T20 cricket tournament being played within the United Arab Emirates. The league was founded in 2022 by the Emirates Cricket Board (ECB). With six team at the first, the Inaugural season of ILT20 took place from 13 January to 12 Feb, 2023.
The International League T20 2024 is played in a double round-robin format, with mean each team will have 2 times compete with each their opponents. The top four team will qualifies for the Playoffs, consist of semi-final, third-place playoff and final.
The team won the first season was Gulf Giants, who defeated Desert Vipers in the final match. By many positive feedback from players and fans, the tournament was a success and expected to become a major cricket league in the United Arab Emirates and Middle East.
One more thing, Three original IPL franchises owners of Kolkata Knight Riders, Mumbai Indians, Delhi Capitals are also got a chance to sign up 4 players from their current IPL squads.
International League T20 was on of the major franchise-run T20 league around the world in just a season old. Because of the quality of players, the league has been given List A status by the ICC just over a month before 2nd season. International League T20 is the first T20 league run by the board of an Associate nation to be given the status. The status mean the tournament will now be recognised as an official T20 League. The ITL20 called this is “a major milestone” and “a major boost”.

- Dubai Capitals: From Dubai, home ground is Dubai International Cricket Stadium and lead by David Warner.
- Gulf Giants: From Dubai, home ground is Dubai International Cricket Stadium and lead by James Vince.
- MI Emirates: From Adu Dhabi City, home ground is Sheikh Zayed Cricket Stadium and lead by Nicholas Pooran.
- Sharjah Warriors: From Sharjah City, home ground is Sharjah Cricket Stadium and lead by Tom Kohler-Cadmore.
International League T20 2024
The International League T20 2024 is a second season of International League T20, organized by ECB. The League will played from 19 January to 17 February 2024. Because the lack of domestic players, the league were granted List A as stipulated by ICC.
